Daniel’s Spotlight: Undergraduate Business Student Association
Daniel’s College of Business has many amazing student led organizations that all offer unique, and diverse experiences to spend extracurricular time. But have you ever wondered if there one overarching organization that somehow binds them together? The answer is the Undergraduate Business Student Association!
The Undergraduate Business Student Association (UBSA) acts as the student government body of Daniel’s to ensure that operations run smoothly among student led groups in addition to proper funding allocation among these groups. We work behind the scenes to make business student life outside of the classroom the best it can possibly be! We strive to increase student involvement, and foster a culture of maximizing the opportunities that Daniel’s offers among all students.
UBSA works directly with the administration of Daniel’s to coordinate, and give feedback to improve the Daniel’s experience. If you are seeking new networking opportunities among business recruiters and administration look no further. If you have any comments or concerns to improve Daniel’s, UBSA grants you the ability to make yourself heard.
Although UBSA is a governing body we still plan and hold our own events. UBSA is responsible for events such as the Business Olympics where teams of four compete testing their business ingenuity for a grand prize of $1500!
Serving within UBSA is an amazing resume booster giving you managerial, and decision making experience that you will be able to take anywhere into the business world. Key leadership development will occur no matter what position you hold within UBSA, guaranteed.
Currently we are a cohesive team of four members, but we extend our invitation to anyone that is compelled to contribute to the betterment of Daniel’s College of Business!
