Delta Sigma Pi, a professional co-ed business fraternity, is a selective organization that focuses on preparing its members for the business world through group and individual professional development. DeltaSig provides excellent networking opportunities in an organization with over 275,000 initiated members and various international chapters.
In fall quarter, our chapter, Alpha Nu, hosted our annual event “Mock Interview Day”. Companies such as Northwestern Mutual, FirstBank, and Arrow Electronics came to the university to conduct interviews and provide feedback to students. Over thirty interviews were conducted and multiple attendees, including some of our own brothers, received invitations to continue the potential employment process following their interviews. Delta Sigma Pi also prides itself on community involvement and frequently engages in philanthropic and volunteer events. In the fall, we participated in the Pumpkin Harvest Festival at Four Mile Historic Park, as well as multiple charitable fundraisers.
The Alpha Nu chapter currently has more than fifty members and will be hosting campus-wide events, such as “Learn Your Major Day”, where underclassmen are given the opportunity to speak with professors from each department in an effort to decide his or her area of concentration and learn more about each major.
Recruitment begins the first week of spring quarter, and we invite all business and economics majors to attend our recruitment events. We will be hosting a recruitment information session on Wednesday, February 4th, at 8:30pm, location TBA. For more information on the fraternity and event details, please visit our website: www.du.dsp.org. We look forward to seeing you at our events and hope to welcome you as brother of Delta Sigma Pi.
